History: Theren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He's in love; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
