Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed shortbow, just in case. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Varis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the east to a Painter, Aerdeth learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Barber, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
