Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Paelias is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Laucian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Laucian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He struck the Bowyer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and an old rival family wants him found
