History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Heian was a troubled youth. Heian decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts
