History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Paelias's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Gifted from a young age, Paelias studied abroad. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Naal embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Naal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Tailor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Barber mother left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

History: Enialis was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
