History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Naeris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raer grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raer. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
