History: Aramil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

History: Thervan was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.
