His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Heian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
