Through the years after Soveliss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Soveliss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Soveliss and his spouse have recently divorced.

Aerdeth decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nim. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
