Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Aramil was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
