History: Rael was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Rael was a troubled youth. Rael decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
