History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Riardon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
