Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Nim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Nim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Vanuath was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
