History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
