Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Varis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are green.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Heian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
