He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Berrian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Korfel hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
