History: Mindartis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mindartis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lamlis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
