His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: Berrian was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Berrian was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Herbalist. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family
