History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
