History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
