History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Dayereth was born the youngest of three triplets. Dayereth was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dayereth decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
