History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Rael and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rael discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rael fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
