History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Carrie was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a Soapmaker soon after.
