Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Dayereth hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bounty Hunter father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
