His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolen grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rolen never married again.
