When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Rolen began to lead the lost caravan. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

After coming to the age of reason, Enialis took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
