Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Korfel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. After a long history of fighting, Korfel and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Naeris is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Naill reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 6. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
