History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: He is a Gardener first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Erdan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aelar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Aelar was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Rael was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nutae does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
