History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hadarai was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
