History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Quarion was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Quarion's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thamior embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Thamior lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture
