This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thervan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Erdan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
