History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
