History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Uthemar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Mercenary soon after.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
