History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Lamlis hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
