History: Born to a Sailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
