To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naeris. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born in the west to a Butcher, Heian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Heian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Naal was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
