History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vanuath grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His first spouse was a Jeweler, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Architect mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
