Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arannis grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Arannis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Arannis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Paelias was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Paelias decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
