Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: To be a Bather again; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Eiravel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Himo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and doesn't want to be a brewer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Quarion was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and a rival would like him out of the picture
