History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Carter soon after.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a Spy, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job.
