History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Arannis began to lead the lost caravan. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.
