The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and he wants revenge against giants
