History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Varis was born with his mother's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
