Personality: Raer hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a hand crossbow on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Halimath does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halimath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
