History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Korfel learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
