History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Aelar and his spouse have recently divorced.
