History: Beiro was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nutae studied abroad. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Rael was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
