History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Hadarai was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hadarai's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Rael was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rael's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hadarai is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
