History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erdan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erdan. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Aerdeth was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aerdeth's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Aerdeth was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
