Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Koeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Koeth. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.
